Applying our developed technology in school environments shows the pedagogical effectiveness of introducing Augmented Reality (AR) into the classroom and creating remote collaboration between classes of different countries.
The project is planned for 36 months. It encompasses a detailed requirement analysis and three stages. Each of the stages will be finished with demonstrating a research prototype. Each prototype will feature a different scenario. The scenarios are chosen to make use of the current capabilities of the prototype. The prototype gives a reference platform to refer to and to build upon.
There are three main scenarios that demonstrate the application of Augmented Reality in classrooms. The scenarios described here in detail have to be seen as examples; they might change in content with the detailed analysis of the didactic and pedagogical situation though not in demonstrated capabilities.
